Backstory, and why subscribe?
Rachael’s life changed suddenly, and tragically, on the 18th of June 2023, when the news broke that her two year old Daughter, Oria Rose and Oria’s Father Ashley, had been found dead in a head on collision with a Heavy Goods Vehicle in Lincolnshire, England. It was later discovered that the act was deliberate and planned, in a letter left by Ashley.
Rachael was blamed and targeted by Ashley, whom she had separated from 6 months prior to their deaths, due to unreasonable behaviour and psychological abuse. Three weeks before the calculated act, Rachael had informed Ashley she was moving on.
In an act of rage and bitter revenge, Ashley planned his suicide and murder of Oria on his return from Skegness, where he had spent the weekend with Oria in a scheduled trip for Father’s Day.
At Oria’s funeral, Rachael pledged to turn her pain into purpose, and pleaded with those listening to her speech to heal.
Oria’s life couldn’t be saved from her Father’s deep wounding. But Oria’s Spirit remains within her Mother. A beacon of Light to inspire others to continue, even in the face of such adversity.
Rachael, who changed her name to Rachael Rose, in honour of Oria, now lives in Thailand where she is deep in the healing journey.
